What we build
The service brings a worldwide charging map, charging-cost and charging-time calculators, an energy-aware route planner, and practical EV guides into one place.
Our goal is to help drivers compare options and prepare for a journey. PlugSphere does not operate charging stations, sell electricity, manufacture vehicles or provide roadside assistance.
Where the information comes from
Charging-location data is powered by Open Charge Map. Map tiles are delivered by CARTO using OpenStreetMap geographic data. Articles identify supporting sources where practical.
Station availability, access, connector, power and price information can change. Calculator and route results are estimates based on the inputs supplied. Drivers should verify critical details with the station operator, vehicle manual and a current navigation service before travelling.
Independence and funding
PlugSphere is not affiliated with a charging network, utility, vehicle maker, Google Maps, Apple Maps or Open Charge Map. Product or company names belong to their respective owners.
The service may later be funded by clearly labelled advertising, sponsorships or affiliate links. Commercial relationships do not buy favourable editorial conclusions. See the advertising and affiliate disclosure for the rules we apply.
